The GFGS Stand at the Malvern Show, 2011

The Gloucestershire Federation of Gardening Societies normally has a stand at the Malvern Autumn Show.

This years stand featured

  • Gourds and squashes from Peter Ballard,
  • Onions and shallots from Martin Davis,
  • Pelargoniums and Coleus from Robert Champion,
  • Beans, tomatoes, impatiens and miniature pelargoniums from Sydney Reed,
  • floral displays by Frances Zygmot.
Thanks to the support from the Executive Committee and Guild of Judges who manned the display during the Show. We did not win any prizes but we did meet a lot of people from our members clubs as well as some potential new members. The reaction to our display was very encouraging.

These photographs were taken by Rod Wells, who is a GFGS judge as well as helping with the stand.
